Ecole Bishop Savaryn School Council Operating Procedures

School Council is a means for parents and community members to work together with the principal and the school community to support and enhance student learning. School Councils are legislated to advise the principal and the board respecting matters relating to the school. Bishop Savaryn School Council has established operating procedures, rules of order and codes of conduct. Meeting dates are posted in the school newsletter and on the school website. The Fundraising Association meetings occur after the general meeting. All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend meetings.

Fundraising Association:

-governed by Societies Act

-optional

-financially support and enhance student learning through the school and/or council

-legal authority, ability and liability
